Randstad Holding nv announces it has entered into formal discussions with the employee representative partners in France about a restructuring plan. Randstad France is currently relying on five business units: construction, industry, expert & professionals, logistics & retail and the services industry. The new agency network will be built on five regions, each integrating the existing industry segments. In several large cities, branches will be combined and form a single multi-specialist branch, thus enabling synergies, increasing commercial opportunities as well as cross-selling and clarifying the scope of activities.
In the current challenging market circumstances, the new structure will help to maintain our solid competitive position in the French market. The plan includes a voluntary departure plan concerning a maximum of 163 jobs, only in management functions.
